From London, England in 1844 to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1854, the YMCA maintains a rich tradition of building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Throughout Indianapolis, our 12 YMCA branches serve more than 185,000 people from diverse communities—providing over $7 million in scholarships, program subsidies, and underwritten programs in low-income communities. We want to do more than serve people in our community—we want to help them thrive.
